Healthy Loaf Walnut Basil Recipe


Walnut Basil Loaf

  • 2 cups brown basmati rice, cooked
  • 1½ cups walnuts
  • ½ cup fresh basil
  • ½ cup medium onion
  • 2 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
  • 5 tbsp rice milk or soy milk


  1. Preheat oven at 325 degrees
  2. Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend until a coarse consistency is achieved.
  3. Spoon the mixture into an oiled loaf pan or small casserole dish.
  4. Bake in pre-heated oven for 50-60 minutes
  5. Allow casserole to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving slices (serves 4-6).
